Following on from DJ’ing and club promotion at Uni, Jollyon started out life in the music industry shortlisting demo’s for the A&R manager at the legendary Mute Records (Moby, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, Goldfrapp). He went on to gain experience at Zomba, Warner, EMI Music Publishing and eventually full time at Richard Branson’s V2 Records. Shortly after leaving, his first single generated an offer from US based Ultra Records. His second single, a collab with Simon Kemper went on to get national radio play on BBC Radio One, as well as support from some of the World’s most renowned DJ’s: Tall Paul, Darren Emerson (Underworld), Seb Fontaine, etc. his work was also picked up by super club Space for their yearly highlights of Ibiza. Recognition came next in the form of a scholarship to Pink Floyd’s legendary Britannia Row Studios, where he trained as a recording and mix engineer. He continues to write (Semi finalist in this year’s UK Song Writing Contest), mix, remix and collaborate, most recently with local artists on the South London music scene. Recent mixes for LL Burns secured radio play and an Esquire Magazine video release with millions of plays. He is hard at work on his next projects. More coming soon….
